István O. Nagy is a seasoned senior executive with twentyfour years of work experience, out of which sixteen as a professional consultant (Ernst & Young, Deloitte, A.T. Kearney, Andersen), made possible for István to assist clients in strategy development, business process reengineering and large organizational restructuring efforts; to participate both in the planning and in the execution of mergers and acquisitions. His professional experience includes development and execution of both corporate and functional strategies (e.g., IT, HR, sales), managing cost reduction and efficiency improvement projects, planning and execution of business process re-engineering and leading the change management processes. István has worked in various industries, at all levels within organizations and he has developed excellent client relationships.
István specializes in strategy development and implementation, in business process enhancement (diagnosis and re-engineering), post merger integration and in the management of large scale programs and projects.
Nagy regularly speaks at various conferences and seminars, teaches regularly in various executive and post-graduate courses and lectures at different universities and business schools. He is an adjunct lecturer of the Central European University Business School since 1996.
Nagy holds a Master of Science from the Technical University of Cluj (Romania) and an M.B.A. from the University of Tulane (USA). He is a Certified Management Consultant since 1996.
