CEU Business School’s Center for Integrity in Business and Government (CIBG), together with the American Chamber of Commerce to Hungary (AmCham), held a Board Simulation exercise at CEU on March 11. Ten practicing lawyers and businesspeople played the role of board members and initiated a lively discussion on integrity dilemmas related to an M&A (mergers and acquisitions) transaction. Members of the audience played the role of shareholders asking and advising the board for further deliberations. The exercise gave insight into the dynamics between the independent board members and the management of a company, and provided rich knowledge on the legal and ethical aspects of integrity dilemmas.

The ensuing reception provided a networking opportunity for students to meet practitioners.

During the accelerated, one year program it all became clear to me. I wanted to create my own business however I have realized I needed to develop both, professionally as well as personally. Both, the CEU BS and consulting experience gave me the chance to achieve my dream, having my own business consulting company in yet another field.

  • "I have been recently nominated as the Regional IT Manager for West Africa at Unilever. My CEU Business School education has been a key differentiator during an otherwise very competitive recruitment process. I would like to thank all my great peers of the 2013-14 cohort and the wonderful faculty at the B-School for the valuable learning experience I had during my time in BP."
