It is our pleasure to invite you to a luncheon seminar this Thursday, October 8 at 12:15 in the CEU Business School, Innovation lab room 305. Our special guest, Professor Ali Eftekhari, (brief bio attached), will discuss how an effective startup can be independent of an initial idea or investment. The key factors are (i) excellent teamwork, (ii) flexibility for evolution, and (iii) profound understanding of the market. In the current highly competitive market, traditional models are no longer valid. Innovation is always the key in today's complicated competitions. The concept of innovation is very tricky in modern business, because people have different understanding of innovation, which are usually wrong. Innovation is a dynamic process, which should be applied to every step in our everyday life. Universities are the home for skill-based startups, as young enthusiastic students are the main capitals for the development of skill-based business startups, and as such are the proper match to build core teams.

  • "I have been recently nominated as the Regional IT Manager for West Africa at Unilever. My CEU Business School education has been a key differentiator during an otherwise very competitive recruitment process. I would like to thank all my great peers of the 2013-14 cohort and the wonderful faculty at the B-School for the valuable learning experience I had during my time in BP."
