Budapest

Budapest is a city of 1.7 million (3.2 million in the metropolitan area) situated beautifully on both sides of the river Danube. It is Hungary's capital and a center of education, transport, commerce, and culture in the region, connecting East and West. Hosting regional headquarters for many multinational companies, Budapest has become an extraordinarily international place with a lively expat community.
