Our New Location

CEU Business School has relocated to the newly developed campus of CEU in 13 Nador street, Budapest. CEU university buildings, previously scattered around the city, are now concentrated at one place near the main building in Nádor Street in the near future. The plans of the Irish firm O’Donnell & Tuomey  were rather appealing and the CEU campus redevelopment project was awarded the Planned Project of the Year 2015 in the “Ev Irodaja” (Office of the Year) competition run by Hungarian real estate media group iroda.hu.

Smart technologies and intelligent design that significantly lower energy consumption has been implemented on CEU’s new campus. „We have a serious responsibility towards the planet to make our buildings more energy efficient, and technology can help us with that,” said Achilles Georgiu, director of the MSc in IT Management program and adjunct professor of CEU Business School at the business forum “Invisible Building Intelligence” co-hosted by CEU Business School and the Embassy of Ireland on April 26.

Intelligent roofs cover the courtyard areas and thus the buildings can adapt to the different weather conditions throughout the year. The heating system and its heat sensors are linked to the room booking system, thereby heating rooms just before they are to be used, and switching heating off after the event.

The new campus removes the barriers between departments of the university and connect not only buildings but also make the community of CEU Business School more of an integrated part of CEU. Our students now have a more convenient access to the CEU library that contains the biggest English-language holdings in the social sciences and humanities in CEE and also other resources of CEU. Closer cooperation with other university departments and deeper involvement with ongoing research is possible as a result of moving campus.

  • "I have been recently nominated as the Regional IT Manager for West Africa at Unilever. My CEU Business School education has been a key differentiator during an otherwise very competitive recruitment process. I would like to thank all my great peers of the 2013-14 cohort and the wonderful faculty at the B-School for the valuable learning experience I had during my time in BP."
